Back from AK with a Very Bouncy Baby

above: Penelope and I near Byron Glacier, Nell in backyard, Dadda and Nellie are twins, and Fetus Stevens at 24 weeks gestation.

We are back from Alaska and looking forward to some time together. This week of leave coming up is much needed.

Alaska was beautiful. Both Andrew and I agreed that when describing it to others we sound like we're detailing a ridiculus make-believe fantasy land that doesn't exist. The place acutually does exist though... here's what we sounded like when describing the scenery, "There is a 360 degree view of mountains with fog looming just below the peaks. Below there is a crystal clear lake that is drained by a river running to the ocean. In each direction waterfalls cascade down from the mountains (seriously- we counted seven, looking in only one direction)." and the ridiculous description could go on and on. It's all real.

The flights to and from Alaska were interesting with 13 month old Penelope. I spent at least three hours of the four hour flight from Seattle saying, "excuse me" to people sitting in aisle seats as I was constantly on the move with a very busy baby girl who has agendas of her own. At least she was happy and never cried on any of the flights.

I am now in my 25th week of pregnancy already! This one seems to be moving along quite swiftly for me, mostly due to the fact that I have Penelope keeping me moving at all times. She will be 14 months on Monday the 27th, and only slows down to sleep, and even that is with hesitation.

Please check out the albums link to see new photos (more than what's here on the blog) and even some of the sonogram done at 24 weeks! Enjoy :) -We miss you. -Team Stevens signing off.
